Accelerating Performance Computer with Delete Prefetch Files

Windows XP has a folder "prefetch" folder that is used to store information about the OS (Operating System) is required to perform an operation. However, basically the files in the folder and prefetch berekstensi (*. pf) is similar to recent files, although the actual different. So should be removed periodically because, if not in the clear will only eat the capacity of harddrives only. And cause the computer to be rather slow.

The way to delete a file in the folder prefetch is as follows, but before that I remind:

(Remember that only delete the files in it, not the folder)

  1. Click Start and select Run

  2. Then type the prefetch

  3. Click OK or press enter

  4. Then delete all the files there.

Or manually as follows:

  1. Open explorer

  2. Then go to

C:\windows\prefetch

  1. Then delete all the files there

Hopefully useful ...
